The 19th century bridge was demolished and the newly built bridge was pushed in during a four-day lockout break.
A special sliding construction with hydraulic cylinders was used to push the 1400 ton bridge 34 meters into its final position.

its just a side track, there are alot of them in germany, most of them get used maybe 2 times a day
