Introduction to Manufacturing and Engineering

Engineering is so vast, but what is it? What do Engineers and their career paths look like? This webinar will answer these questions, tackle stereotypes and will provide expert careers advice and guidance signposting to next steps post school, including Apprenticeships in Advanced Manufacturing.

A question and answer panel discussion session – and opportunity for students to hear first-hand from successful young Engineers and ask questions about what it is like.

Master Your Stem Careers Guidance

A Careers Leader CPD Session featuring two guest speakers from different colleges focussing on demystifying engineering careers, Apprenticeships/Higher Level Apprenticeships in Engineering, T Levels focuses on vocational skills and how to help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships.

Challenging stereotypes and demystifying- the world of engineering, manufacturing and construction

We’ll be exploring this sector through the career journeys of various people from who have built a career in engineering, manufacturing and construction.

Introduction to Construction

This session will introduce students to the diverse world of construction. Showcasing some of the live projects that are currently going on in the Black Country, highlighting the variety of roles involved in this fantastic industry.

Routes into Construction

There are over 700 opportunities in construction to choose from, enabling the industry to have something to offer everyone; civil engineering, building services, trades, technicians and professional occupations. This session will give you guidance explaining where to go and who to talk to if you feel this is the career for you.
