Great video, reminiscent of my years as a Union Ironworker in Seattle. A couple things I don’t get; the “ground floor” looks to be about 6′ below grade. Also, the light wells look like they were buried in the soil ?

This is because, depending on the region, the construction method may or may not be suitable.
Not all methods are suitable for all regions….
The first build site is in the United Kingdom. At 1:00 in the video, you can read all the city names on the crane truck door. Glattharr FertigKeller is a German company with a UK division.
First example is the uk, the prefabricated wall panels are called “twin wall” and the prefab thin slab with reinforcement chairs is called “omnia plank” which is made by several companies. What I find interesting here is there is no waterbar detail at the connection between basement slab and precast wall, all waterproofing is via the slurry and spray to the outside walls, not very robust construction.
It’s most likely in the UK, some of the tools & safety gear is definitely not US. Hope this helps

What brand of ICF forms are you using on the first floor (not the prefab basement)? This form is much different than the more common symmetrical variety.
How much is the total cost from excavation from ground zero to the finish floor plan?
These are some expensive builds, spared no expense.

These are great ways of doing foundations, very area specific. Can’t do in many areas do to termites. They love styrofoam and will tunnel through it and make a home then go after all wood including furniture, they will go through the smallest gaps in the wall, especially pre-cast foundation.
Yeah, I noticed a lot of North American houses are built with wood. Making the house from another material might be best because of termites tho.
