@Gabriel Traveler I know how you feel man we have been going for 8 months and some times you just need a huge chunk of down time and we aren’t vlogging like you are that takes some doing. Loved the Series. We’ll possibly be heading to Italy soon and I may vlog a little. Any way enjoy the trip back home and I look forward to seeing how the year un-ravels

Thanks Steve, yeah I’m a bit traveled out at this point. I’m flying back to Oregon in the U.S. tomorrow from Madrid, looking forward to getting home after 6 months straight of traveling. I’ll be having some fun adventures back there though, more outdoorsy stuff.

Hey Gabriel! Hope you’re having an amazing time in Granada, it’s an incredible city. Went there for 2 months and ended up living there for 8. Get yourself to the bar next to your hostel, it has great tapas and the staff there are lovely, really good vibes 🙂 If only I were there and i’d have shown you all the great places Granada has to offer

I went to Granada for a night with my best friend 2 years ago when I went to visit her in Spain during her year abroad and I loved it. Such a beautiful city, I want to go back there one day and spend more time there.

Hello! I’m getting ready to head to Granada at the end of this month and I couldn’t be more excited!! I was wondering if you found any hidden treasure spots that you didn’t show in these tour guides that you could share? I’ll be blogging for my university on my trip and would love to know of any cool spots that aren’t typically talked about or that aren’t go-to tourist sites.

WALK WALK WALK and walk some more! It’s super walkable and being in a car really prohibits you from seeing some really cool stuff. There’s also tons of cool street art you’ll want to see all around the city. And don’t be afraid to duck down some side streets. Some really cool bars hide down those side streets. Calle Navas and Calle Reyes Catolicos have some of the more expensive bars. Diamantes (across from Plaza Nueva) is good if you like seafood. to travel between cordoba and granada, I’d recommend you go to alsa.es. It’s a bus system and you’ll get a seat for between 10-20 euro. that’s the easiest but you’ll need a paypal account (super easy to set up). Definitely don’t waist your money on renting a car. Papaupa and Casa Lopez on Calle Molinos are really good.
As for what to do: for a short stay, there’s some “free” tours that meet at 10am in Plaza Isabel La Catolica (off of calle Reyes Catolicos) that will take you through the center of the city. They do one through the Albaycin during the evening but I don’t remember the time. It’s “free” because at the end they’ll ask you to pay what you want. Almost like a donation. Let me know if you have any other questions or want some spanish phrase tips!
