@Orin Anthony Im worried too. With dark roads and the sun shining on them they get hot. How much heat can they take? Do they smell like hot plastic and give toxic substances from heating into the air?
Also I heard something (forgotten the source) about microplastic in the ground. Everyone knows about it in the ocean but we have around the same amound mixed in the ground. If food wrapped in plastic is thrown away it gets crushed with the plastic into small parts. It then gets burried in the ground to rot.
Same with flowers. If they get thrown away with plastic it ends up in the soil.

dlwatib I believe you answered your own “concern.” Plants and especially trees – the kings of evaporative cooling on our planet, die when they’re exposed to decades long droughts; they can’t grow when heat-stressed by rising temperatures; or when downpours cause so much rain to fall over one area that it runs right off the surface and into streams, rivers, and oceans without being absorbed deep into the soil where trees need it to maintain adequate canopy.
What always seems to be missing from denier thinking is the overall big picture. They forget that in this case the CO2 fertilization effect does not happen in isolation. You can have positive and negative things going on at the same time, but it’s the net balance that matters. As with most skeptics and their ideas, the belief that you can cherry-pick the desired effects from the overall effect of adding atmospheric carbon dioxide is simply not how the world or it’s climate works.

My concern is that the climate alarmists are completely wrong and we actually need more CO2 in the atmosphere so our plants will grow better. Plants help to cool their local environment through increased evaporation.

Splendid video guys. Id love to get my hands on that 3D printing for SFR’s Id imagine architects will have to learn to use this as well. Up to now they design based on current building techniques and this is a huge leap.
